How to set water tracking and two-hour reminders in Cora
In Today’s water tracker, choose an amount and unit, then press Add. Edit your daily goal separately. Enabling reminders and selecting start and end times schedules device notifications at two-hour intervals; Android notification permission is required.
Logging an amount is different from editing a goal
A water entry is the amount you say you drank. A goal is a planning value for the day. Review the recorded total, goal and remaining amount together. After using quick-amount controls, check the input and press Add. Avoid adding the same amount again with the wrong unit: 500 ml equals 0.5 L.
Set a personal daily goal
Open water-goal settings, choose the personal-goal method, enter a value in litres and save. A weight-based approximation and a manually chosen goal are separate methods. If a field is inactive, check the selected method. The app does not measure your exact fluid needs; follow your healthcare team’s plan when you have an individual restriction or target.
Configure the two-hour schedule
Enable the reminder, choose daily start and end times, and grant Android notification permission when asked. Check the reminder card’s enabled state and next-notification information. Notifications depend on the selected time window; they are not expected after the end time. Once the recorded daily goal is reached, reminders stop for that day and resume the next day.
Troubleshoot missing notifications
Check that reminders are enabled and review the time window. Then inspect Cora’s Android notification permission, notification channel and battery or background restrictions. If the goal has already been reached, do not expect another reminder that day. A web preview does not test Android local notifications; check the actual phone.
Understand the water illustration
The animated illustration represents the amounts you log; it does not sense how much you drink. Optional phone motion changes the drawing’s tilt. It is not a healthcare sensor or a measurement of blood pressure or body temperature.
