Recorded days versus estimates in Cora’s period calendar
A saved period day is information you entered and stored. A following-cycle estimate is an approximate date calculated from those records. They use different calendar markers. A ring around the selected date is not, by itself, a period record or a medical result.
Read the calendar markers separately
Today, the selected date, period days you recorded and a following-cycle estimate have different meanings. The selected date identifies the day whose details are open. Do not treat an estimated date range as a completed event; read the calendar legend.
Selecting a date and saving it
Tap the relevant day and recheck the date in its details. After choosing changes such as a start or end marker, confirm with Save. Merely browsing months or tapping a date does not mean you reported an actual period day. Do not mark future dates as completed period events; follow the current input restrictions.
Missing or incorrect dates
Check the accuracy of past entries before interpreting estimates. An incorrect start date can change the next approximate date. Correcting one entry and clearing all period records have very different scopes. Export a backup before a bulk deletion and check exactly what will be removed.
Personal plans and reminders
A special date or plan is separate from a period estimate. Check its title, date and time, then choose an optional reminder. Delivery depends on Android permission and device settings. When opening a notification, check which calendar entry it refers to.
Limits for healthcare decisions
The calendar organises past records and approximate dates. It does not determine an exact period start, fertility, pregnancy or a medical diagnosis, and must not be used for contraception. Discuss health questions with a qualified healthcare professional.
