CORA · HCS YAZILIM · USAGE GUIDE
Cora backups and restoring PRO are different operations
A JSON backup moves your personal records; restoring purchases checks the PRO entitlement on your Google Play account. Completing one does not complete the other. Before changing phones or uninstalling, keep a record backup securely outside the app.
JSON, PDF and purchase records
A JSON file is a data backup for the app’s import flow. A PDF is a readable or shareable report, not the same restoration file. A Google Play purchase record relates to the subscription on your store account. Seeing PRO again does not mean old journal entries were downloaded from a cloud account.
Before leaving the old phone
Export a JSON backup from Profile. Check that the file exists, when it was created and where it is saved. Keep a copy somewhere that will survive removing the app. An export may contain private journal and calendar information; the app lock does not automatically encrypt that file.
Check records on the destination phone
Install Cora, open its backup-restoration flow and select the correct JSON file. Read the prompts before confirming. Afterwards, check notebooks, entries on several dates, period records and water information. Keep the old phone’s data and the original backup until these checks are complete.
If PRO does not appear
Confirm that Google Play uses the account that made the purchase, then use Restore purchases. An internet connection is required. Do not buy again before checking the account, plan and transaction status. Uninstalling does not cancel a subscription; use Google Play’s subscription settings to cancel.
Request support safely
Send the app version, phone model, Android version and error text. Do not attach a complete JSON backup, private journal text or payment-card information. Explain the problem using steps or an example without personal records where possible.
