A filled-in monthly bill example, fixed and variable expenses, due-date checks and free downloadable templates.
Bill & Contract Tracker summarises the amounts you enter and mark as recurring monthly expenses. It does not connect to your bank, fetch bills or make payments.
1. Give every payment a clear name
Use distinct titles such as “Home internet” and “Home rent”. Check whether a second image of the same bill has accidentally created a duplicate payment record. Duplicates can overstate your total.
2. Separate one-off purchases from monthly expenses
Buying a device is not the same as paying for internet every month. Mark only genuinely recurring monthly records as monthly expenses. Do not treat annual or variable payments as fixed monthly costs.
10,000 TL rent + 600 TL internet + 250 TL fixed service fee = 10,850 TL in recorded fixed monthly expenses. If all three amounts stayed unchanged for 12 months, the annual equivalent would be 130,200 TL. This is an estimate, not a payment schedule or future price guarantee.
A filled-in monthly bill tracking table
This October 2026 example is fictional. It does not show current tariffs, price recommendations or real user payments. Verify your own amounts and dates against your documents. Only mark a payment as paid after checking with the relevant provider.
On a narrow screen, scroll the table horizontally. All example amounts are Turkish lira (TL); no currency conversion is performed.

How to read the example
- Fixed monthly records: 10,000 + 600 + 250 = 10,850 TL.
- This month’s variable bill: 900 TL. Do not assume it will be the same next month.
- Total listed this month: 10,850 + 900 = 11,750 TL.
- Marked as paid: 10,850 TL; awaiting payment: 900 TL. These are manual notes, not bank or provider verification.
This table is a website example, not a claim that the app automatically tracks payment status. The CSV does not calculate, connect to a bank or import into the app. Do not upload your completed personal list to this site.
A bill due date and a contract end date are different. Use the contract renewal checklist to record them separately.
3. Know what the total does not show
Expenses you have not recorded are not included. The monthly summary is not your bank balance, a complete personal budget or proof of payment. Compare a changing bill with the new document and update your own record when needed.
4. Make a short end-of-month check
Look for duplicated services, expired contracts still marked as monthly expenses, incorrect amounts or currencies, prices that changed after an introductory period, and missing document backups.

Two common questions
How do I track a variable bill?
The last recorded amount is not a guaranteed future payment. Compare each new bill with your record and consider fixed monthly payments separately from changing amounts.
Can I add different currencies together?
Do not add TL, US dollars and euros into a single meaningful total without conversion. Keep a separate checklist for each currency. This template does not convert currencies.
