Records on your device
Pet profiles, health history, photos and documents stay in local app storage on your device. No automatic server backup or in-app encryption is provided. Uninstalling, clearing app data, or clearing website data in the web version can delete records. Use a screen lock and export regular file backups.
Connections and service providers
Basic Android records and student OCR do not connect to our server. This version has no analytics or advertising SDK. Google Maps and Google Play process connection and transaction information under their own policies. Opening web pages may expose IP and technical request data to the site host; health records are not uploaded to that host. Contact [email protected] for privacy questions.
Retention and deletion
Records remain on your device. In-app reset or backup import keeps a local recovery copy of previous records, so it is not permanent deletion. To permanently remove all records, recovery copies and the student check, use Android Settings > Apps > PatiDostum > Storage > Clear data; in the web version clear the browser’s site data. Export anything you want to keep first. Delete downloaded/shared files separately. Clearing data does not cancel Google Play subscriptions.
Your choices and contact
Export your records as JSON in settings. Revoke location and notification permissions in your device/browser settings. Use the contact address below for privacy requests. This policy is not blanket consent to optional data sharing; explanations and permissions where needed appear before the relevant feature is used.
Emergency card and QR sharing
Only selected populated fields are included in an emergency QR or link. The phone card uses the URL fragment (#); no health record or chip-search index is created on the app server. Anyone with the link/QR can read, copy and forward it; links may remain in browser history. Do not select confidential fields. This unencrypted card is a snapshot: previous shares cannot be revoked or updated remotely. Photos are not included in this text card. No account is needed to open it. Official chip lookup and owner-finding services are not provided.
Updates
When data use changes materially, we update the policy version and show a new notice in the app. PatiDostum does not provide medical diagnosis or veterinary services.
On-device student document check
PDF/photos are read only on your device using OCR. Files and extracted text are neither uploaded nor retained permanently. Only the issue date, check time, eligibility decision and validity time stay on the device. The four-calendar-year and future-date rules use the device clock. This does not prove authenticity or current enrolment. Delete the result in the student screen. Android bundles models; the web preview downloads engine files from the app host on first use.
Google Play payments
Android uses Google Play Billing directly. We do not receive card details. The app queries Google Play, checks purchase signatures on the device and acknowledges purchases. Tokens are not sent to our app server. Verified access may remain for up to one hour during a network outage; this is not the subscription expiry date. Manage actual renewal and cancellation in Google Play.
Suspended services and maps
Account sign-in, family invitations, shared records, cloud sync, server document checks and cloud AI image generation are disabled. Free Google Maps links open Google when you choose; permitted location coordinates are sent to Google for the search. No background tracking. Personal records remain on your device.
File backups, sharing and notifications
Choose a destination using the Android file picker. If you share via email or another app, the app you choose handles the attachment; we do not send email ourselves or confirm delivery. Protect and delete exported/shared copies separately. Permitted care notifications are scheduled on the device and may display pet names and care details. Manage lock-screen visibility in phone settings. Android battery and notification settings may delay delivery.
